Recently, Xingtai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xingtai Iron and Steel") held the Q3 Safety Production Regular Meeting and the Summary Meeting of the June Safety Production Month. The meeting systematically summarized the effectiveness of the "Safety Production Month" activity and deployed key safety production work for Q3. Li Hongchao, Deputy General Manager of the company, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
The meeting heard a graphic analysis of eight typical production safety issues in Q2, a summary of the Safety Production Month activity, and the Q3 work deployment reported by the Safety Department. Responsible persons of the Steelmaking Plant and Ironmaking Plant respectively reported the experience and practices of their units during the Safety Production Month. The meeting affirmed the work achievements of all units, emphasized the need to firmly establish the concept that "every month is Safety Month and every day is Safety Day", and required all units to learn from each other's experience, and continuously deepen basic work such as emergency training, promotion of the "double prevention" mechanism, and hidden danger investigation.
In response to the seasonal characteristics of high temperature and frequent rainfall in Q3, the meeting pointed out that priority should be given to preventing and controlling seasonal safety risks. It required organizing the study of accident cases in the same period in history, strengthening the safety management of temporary inspection and maintenance, gas and electrical operations, and carrying out targeted safety warning education. The meeting emphasized the need to resolutely put an end to the "three violations" (violation of operation procedures, violation of safety regulations, and violation of labor discipline) phenomenon. Managers must go deep into the site to perform supervision duties and adopt a "zero-tolerance" attitude towards violations; personnel who repeatedly violate regulations should be transferred to other posts in a timely manner. Regarding the supervision of night operations, it required workshop on-duty personnel to supervise general maintenance work, on-duty factory directors to be responsible for inspecting safety measures for hazardous operations, and the Safety Section to participate in the supervision of planned inspection and maintenance. At the same time, flood prevention work in the rainy season was deployed, requiring measures to prevent water inflow in workshops, ensure the dryness of power distribution systems and liquid metal areas, and implement night duty and emergency disposal mechanisms.
The meeting required a comprehensive investigation of potential fire hazards and timely cleaning of flammable materials, emphasizing that risk control and hidden danger elimination are the fundamental ways to prevent accidents. The meeting called on all cadres and employees to implement safety measures and provide a solid guarantee for the company's production and operation in Q3.
