Recently, Xingtai Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (Xingtai Steel) held an expanded meeting of the CPC Committee to continue the "Party Lecture Series" and warning education activities. The meeting was presided over by Wei Ligang, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Deputy General Manager, and Chairman of the Trade Union of the company. More than 80 participants attended, including secretaries of the three-level organizations (CPC Committee, General Party Branch, and Party Branch), middle and senior management personnel, and professional personnel at the director and deputy director levels. Relevant personnel stationed at the new plant in Weixian County watched the meeting via video link.
All participants collectively watched two promotional videos themed "The Party's Eight-Point Frugality Code Transforms China": Becoming a Powerful Driving Force for Promoting High-Quality Development and Winning the Sincere Support of the People with New Achievements in Work Style Construction. Through the study, the participants deeply recognized the importance that "the improvement of work style is an unending journey and the comprehensive and strict governance of the Party must never be relaxed for a moment". This further strengthened their awareness of adhering to the bottom line of political discipline and rules, laying a solid foundation for building a clean and upright political ecosystem at Xingtai Steel during its transitional development period.
Subsequently, a special Party lecture titled Overcome Difficulties to Achieve Glory – Reviewing the CPC's Progressive Path During the Low Tides of the Revolution was delivered. Combining historical materials of the CPC, the lecture reviewed the glorious history of the Party leading the people to overcome difficulties and ultimately achieve victory in the counter-encirclement and suppression campaigns by relying on firm ideals and beliefs and the spirit of selfless dedication during the two low tides of the revolution. Through the study, the participants drew wisdom and strength of "fearlessness in the face of difficulties and courage to fight" from the Party's struggle history, inspiring all Party members to continue carrying forward the spirit of dedication of "daring to take responsibility and act proactively", and to wholeheartedly engage in the cause of the new Xingtai Steel with a positive attitude.
By deepening the study of Party history and conducting warning education, this meeting guided all Party members and cadres to stay true to their original aspiration and keep their mission firmly in mind. At this crucial period of ensuring cost reduction and efficiency improvement at the old plant and promoting the efficient construction of the new plant, the meeting further unified ideas, built consensus, strengthened the sense of responsibility and commitment, and encouraged everyone to engage in the practice of high-quality development of Xingtai Steel with the "Spirit of Driving Nails".
