At 9:00 AM on September 10th, the pre-strategic cooperation technical exchange seminar between Xingtai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Xingtai Steel) and China Iron & Steel Research Institute Group (CISRI) was successfully held via video conference. Despite the virtual format, the meeting featured a warm atmosphere and pragmatic content, opening a new chapter for in-depth cooperation between the two parties in the future.
The main venue of the meeting was set up in Conference Room 501 of Xingtai Steel's office building, with a branch venue at the Xingtai Steel Transformation, Upgrading and Relocation Project Department in Weixian County. Participants from Xingtai Steel included Tian Xinzhong (Assistant to the Chairman & General Manager and Chief Engineer), Ma Baoliang (Deputy General Manager), as well as relevant responsible persons from the Technology Center and the Information & Automation Department. From CISRI, expert teams from four core divisions attended the seminar: the Process Research Institute, the Special Steel Institute, the Artificial Intelligence Business Department, and the Hydrogen Metallurgy Center of CISRI Research Institute.
Focusing on the core needs of Xingtai Steel's new plant construction, the meeting conducted extensive and in-depth technical discussions on key topics such as future product planning, high-end special steel material R&D, intelligent manufacturing, and green low-carbon metallurgy technology. Experts from CISRI shared the latest research achievements and application cases in related fields, and put forward valuable suggestions for Xingtai Steel's future development. Both parties unanimously agreed that in the new development stage, building a technologically advanced, green low-carbon, intelligent and efficient new Xingtai Steel through scientific and technological innovation is their common goal.
The successful holding of this seminar is an important measure to thoroughly implement the outcomes of the visit paid by the main leaders of Weixian County Party Committee and Government, together with Zhang Yuming (Chairman of Xingtai Steel) and his delegation, to CISRI on August 29th. During the visit, the delegation was warmly received by CISRI leaders including Gao Hongbin (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager) and Hao Xiaodong (Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee and Deputy General Manager). This technical exchange marks that in the process of transformation and upgrading, Xingtai Steel is actively cooperating with leading national scientific research forces, empowering industrial upgrading with technological innovation, and making every effort to promote the enterprise towards the high-end of the industrial chain.
Looking forward, taking this technical exchange as a starting point, both parties will accelerate the establishment of a comprehensive strategic cooperative relationship. Through in-depth integration of industry, university, research and application, they will jointly tackle key technical problems and promote the transformation of innovative scientific and technological achievements.
