Xingtai Steel Launches 2025 On-site Renovation Month: Promoting Environmental Improvement Through Full Staff Participation
  Updatetime:2025-09-16 Hits:
Recently, to thoroughly implement the company's leadership deployment on optimizing the factory environment, Xingtai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (Xingtai Steel) officially issued the "2025 On-site Renovation Month Activity Plan". Scheduled to run from September 9th to October 8th, this special on-site environmental renovation campaign adheres to the principles of "full staff participation, self-reliance, focusing on key priorities, and driving overall improvement through key breakthroughs", striving to achieve maximum results with minimal investment.
The campaign is co-led by the Environmental Protection Department and the General Office, which have established a leading group to coordinate and promote various tasks. To fully mobilize the enthusiasm of all employees, the activity innovatively adopts a "department-to-factory responsibility system". Eighteen functional departments are paired with seven secondary units through lottery drawing, with clear division of responsibilities to ensure the effective implementation of renovation work.
The renovation focuses on four key areas:
  1. Clearing miscellaneous trees, pruning plants, and removing garbage in green belts;
  2. Managing accumulated dust and debris on roads and surrounding areas to achieve "exposed original road surfaces";
  3. Cleaning and maintaining road facilities such as lamp posts, signboards, and manhole covers;
  4. Ensuring production workshop equipment is restored to its original condition, operating platforms are tidy, and items are managed in a fixed-position manner. Other detailed standards shall be implemented in accordance with the company's "On-site Management System". The activity is carried out in three phases: centralized renovation, inspection and exposure, and summary and promotion.

A number of key areas have been identified for this renovation, including major factory roads, key production units, and visitor routes. Responsibility division and assessment mechanisms have been refined. For example, road sweepers must respond promptly to dispatch from responsible units, otherwise, they will be assessed per violation; issues such as damaged covers in the factory front area must be reported for repair in a timely manner, and responsible units will be held accountable for overdue handling.
After the conclusion of the activity, the company will publicly commend outstanding units and individuals for their performance in the renovation work, further stimulating employees' enthusiasm for participating in on-site management, and continuously promoting the improvement of the factory environment and the enhancement of the enterprise image.
